CEO Ashley Morgan:

Ashley has woven her magic in marketing and operations in many industries serving consulting patrons with zeal. Her professional career began in the high profile world of the music industry, where she worked in marketing before transitioning to event operations, directing tradeshows across the USA.

The spark that ignited her passion for real estate was kindled with the purchase of a multi-family rental property in NYC in 2002. Though it was not until 2008, with the acquisition of her first property in Newark, NJ, that she truly focused on building a real estate portfolio. Her desire to create a vibrant community for her children to be proud of, inspired her to purchase and rehabilitate properties in disrepair.

MBJ Development was started right here in Newark NJ with husband Dwayne JeanBaptiste while managing their first owner-occupied rental in New Jersey. The company was started out of the desire to provide high quality rentals to hard working families while ensuring those spaces were always beautifully maintained. MJB strongly believes people will treat beautiful spaces well and if provided the opportunity will make efforts to maintain those standards.
